The โ18th Cambodia Trade Expoโ (CTExpo) kicked off this morning at PH Grand Hall Centre in Phnom Penh, running under the theme โTrade Renaissance: Local Products Empowerment.โ

H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), presided over the four-day annual event, which is organized by the Ministry of Commerce.
The 18th CTExpoโs core objectives are to promote and showcase Cambodia’s potential products and services, aiming to enhance domestic market connectivity and create opportunities for national and international business matching. It also serves as a key platform to disseminate information about Cambodia’s economic, trade, and investment opportunities.
Key Programmes: Exports, Women in Commerce, and Public Service
In addition to the rich display of product and service booths from domestic and international companies, the event features several important supporting programmes:
- Spotlight on Cambodiaโs Export Sector
- Business Matching Programme on “Market Opportunities for Cambodian Products in the New Era”
- Women in Commerce Forum
- Cambodia Public Services Pavilion
Addressing the function, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the dedication of the Prime Minister, which serves as the foundation for development and the remarkable transformation of Cambodiaโs image on the international stage.
He also commended the Ministry of Commerce for its effective implementation of trade development strategies. Notably, he praised the Ministry’s organization efforts, which led the Cambodian National Pavilion to win the “Bronze Award” at the recent World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Accelerating Domestic Commerce and Global Investment
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed his expectation that the modern organization and high-quality products displayed at the 2025 CTExpo will be a key driving force for Cambodia’s economic growth in the new era. Crucially, the event is expected to accelerate and boost domestic commercial activities and further connect the local market.
The 18th Cambodia Trade Expo will help national businesses and international investors gain a clearer understanding of Cambodia’s potential and the priority incentive packages provided by the Royal Government for investment, encouraging partnerships to bring high-quality Cambodian products to the international market.
