The Cambodian government confirms these claims are false information.

Thai Military Identified as Aggressor

The official statement clarified that, contrary to Thai reports, Thai military forces launched the attack on Cambodian forces at approximately 05:00 AM on the morning of December 8, 2025.

  • Pattern of Provocation: This morningโ€™s attack followed a sustained pattern of provocation, including numerous aggressive actions by Thai forces over many days, specifically highlighting the incident yesterday at the Prorlean Thmar area.
