A Saudi business delegation is visiting Cambodia to explore new opportunities for strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, reflecting growing economic engagement between Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
On Sunday, Cambodia’s Minister of Commerce, H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, met with H.E. Waleed Nasser Alsheri, Chairman of the Saudi-Cambodia Business Council, alongside representatives from the Saudi Chamber of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce in Phnom Penh.
During the meeting, the Minister briefed the delegation on Cambodia’s latest economic and trade policy developments, highlighting ongoing reforms aimed at improving the business environment, attracting foreign investment, and enhancing national competitiveness. He noted Cambodia’s strategic role as a gateway to the ASEAN market, adding that the country’s development direction aligns closely with Saudi Vision 2030.
