PHNOM PENH – On October 23, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many met with leaders and members of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) structures to provide an update on the current situation and the Royal Government’s efforts concerning the Cambodia-Thailand border issue.

Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many Briefs CPP Structures on Cambodia-Thailand Border Efforts

In his capacity as a party member, Mr. Hun Many extended his gratitude to all members for their dedicated efforts in implementing the government’s political agenda, particularly in leading, managing, and developing the public function sector and public administration reform.
He then detailed the Royal Government’s ongoing work to resolve the Cambodia-Thailand border situation, emphasizing that the government’s approach relies on the foundations of diplomacy and international law. This strategy, he noted, aligns with the principle articulated by Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister Hun Manet: “Calm, but not silent” («ស្ងប់ស្ងាត់ តែមិននៅស្ងៀម»).

The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged all members to maintain their trust in the CPP leadership under Samdech Techo Hun Sen. He called upon the members to continue upholding the spirit of patriotism and national pride and to support all measures taken by the Royal Government, led by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and the Cambodian frontline forces. He affirmed that these forces are highly capable and responsible for resolving the Cambodia-Thailand border issue, moving towards normalization and achieving full peace.
