The discussion involved H.E. Heng Sour, Cambodian Minister of MoLVT, and Ms. Tania Meyer, WB Country Manager for Cambodia.

Alignment with Government Priorities

H.E. Heng Sour expressed his high appreciation for the World Bankโ€™s robust partnership in developing human capital, jobs, and skills. He noted that the discussion aligns perfectly with the Royal Government of Cambodiaโ€™s (RGC) top priorities concerning employment, the labour market, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and inclusive growth. The Minister specifically recognized the WBโ€™s long-standing collaboration with MoLVT, particularly through the successful Cambodia Skills for Better Jobs program.
