According to a report from the Ministry of Commerce, Cambodia earned a total of over $502 million USD from bicycle exports during the first 10 months of 2025 (January to October).
This represents a remarkable growth of 47.66% compared to the same period in 2024, when revenues totaled $340.55 million USD. The specific export value for the 10 months of 2025 reached $502.85 million USD.

The Ministry of Commerce identified the major markets for Cambodian bicycle exports, which include:
- The United States
- Germany
- Belgium
- The United Kingdom
- The Netherlands
The report also noted that Cambodia imports bicycles from countries like Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and the United States.
Key Factor Boosting Exports:
The European Union (EU) has allowed Cambodia to use raw materials or components for bicycles that originate in Vietnam. These parts can be used to manufacture bicycles in Cambodia for export to the EU.
This authorization has made Cambodia’s bicycle export market significantly easier, as it provides convenient access to raw material sources from neighboring Vietnam.
Bicycle Assembly Factories in Cambodia
Cambodia currently has five bicycle assembly factories located in the Special Economic Zone in Bavet city, Svay Rieng province:
