Ratanakiri: On the morning of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and President of the Cambodian People’s Party, held a meeting with nearly 800 local council members and administrative leaders in Ratanakiri Province.
This visit marks the 20th province/municipality visited under the “Grassroots Outreach” mission, which began on April 25, 2026. The mission serves as a critical platform for Samdech Techo to emphasize the importance of local governance:
- Public Service Excellence: Urging officials to prioritize rapid and efficient service delivery for all citizens.
- Community Advocacy: Directing local leaders to proactively resolve citizens’ grievances and concerns.
- Security & Sustainability: Emphasizing the enforcement of public order, the fight against crime, and the vital protection of Cambodia’s natural resources.
