Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk has extended her support to Cambodia’s ongoing demining efforts with a significant donation of US$20,000 to the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC). The contribution aims to strengthen the work of mine clearance officers, particularly along the sensitive border areas where unexploded ordnance continues to pose threats to communities.
The handover ceremony took place with Samdech Moha Montrey Kuy Sophal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, acting as the Queen-Mother’s official representative.
