Phnom Penh — Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), today received a CPP working group from Oregon, USA, at the January 7 Palace.
The delegation was led by Mr. Seng Sam Un, Chairman of the CPP in Oregon, and coordinated by Oknha Srey Chanthan, Deputy Head of the CPP’s West Coast Region in the United States, as confirmed by H.E. Chea Thyrith, Spokesperson for the party.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen warmly welcomed the overseas delegation and shared a comprehensive overview of Cambodia’s political and historical landscape. He recalled his personal leadership and sacrifices in liberating the nation from the genocidal regime and guiding its subsequent post-war reconstruction.
Focus on Current Progress and Border Stability
The CPP President affirmed Cambodia’s continued progress under the leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, noting the current administration is steering national development with vigor and determination.
Samdech Techo also addressed the sensitive Cambodia–Thailand border situation, stressing that the Royal Government is working tirelessly to restore stability and normalcy along the frontier.
In closing, Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged the overseas CPP members to remain well-informed about the true situation in Cambodia and to actively share the country’s achievements and accurate information with the international community. He concluded by wishing the overseas working group continued success in their political and social missions.
