Massive Humanitarian Mobilization

The aid operation has reached a significant scale to meet the needs of those currently sheltering in safety camps.

  • Total Households Reached: As of December 16, 22,600 households across multiple camps have received essential aid.
  • Recent Surge: Over Monday and Tuesday alone, volunteers assembled 8,000 additional relief kits.
  • Daily Deliveries: 3,000 packages were distributed on Monday, followed by 5,000 on Tuesday.

Leadership through Personal Donation

The relief packages, which include food and daily essentials, were funded by the personal donations of Cambodiaโ€™s top leadership:

  • Samdech Techo Hun Sen (Senate President) and Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen.
  • Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony.

Holistic Support: From Camps to Hospitals

Beyond the distribution of supplies at camps, the CRC President has maintained a high-profile presence in supporting those affected by the conflict. On Monday, Samdech Kittiprittpundit visited hospitals in Phnom Penh to meet with and provide encouragement to wounded soldiers receiving medical treatment.

“This mission reflects our continued commitment to alleviating the suffering of displaced communities and ensuring that humanitarian support arrives exactly when and where it is needed most,” the CRC stated.
